Why You Should Invest in One-on-One Education This Month
I’ve already made my case for why you should invest in in-person education, but now I want to tell you why you should be investing in one-on-one education this month.
There are 2 BIG reasons why July through August is a *perfect* time for private photo editors to invest in 1-on-1 education:
1. You don’t have as much work coming in
Take this slow time to really perfect your processes. Get your workflows in place and make necessary changes to whatever isn’t working in your business. If you’re brand new to the photo editing scene, take the time to learn about how to effectively run your editing business without the growing pains of starting from scratch.
2. Photographers start looking for editors around September and October
Why? Because September is the start of busy season. Many photographers start to realize that they are too overwhelmed with the amount of weddings they’re shooting. They need help! September is a great time to start bringing in clients and filling that schedule!
If you invest in one-on-one education between now and August, you could be running a part-time, or even a full-time editing business with enough work to supplement your 9-5 job’s income by October.
